Cruise. Come cruise with us! “Let’s go cruising with Terry and Dixie”
 Join Terry from Lone Star Quiltworks in Bryan and Dixie from Seventh Heaven in San Antonio on a 7 night Western Caribbean Cruise. The Mariner of the Seas will sail from Galveston on Feb. 26. Ports of call will be Roatan, Honduras, Belize City and Cozumel. Guests on the Mariner of the Seas experience one of the most exciting ships ever built. With a total Length of 1,020 feet, a weight of 138,000 tons and a capacity to hold 3,114 passengers. The Mariner of the Seas has something for everyone. It is part of the Voyager class of cruise ships. They represent the highest public space- per-guest ratio in the cruise market. This spectacular ship was designed with enhanced staterooms, expanded dining options and state-of-the-art recreational facilities. Mariner of the Seas is filled with a rock-climbing wall, a miniature golf course, golf simulators, two atriums, an ice-skating rink, a basketball court, theme bars and restaurants. Mariner of the Seas also features the Royal Promenade, a bustling boulevard four decks high and the length of two football fields, where you’ll find charming shops, cafes, colorful street performers and lively fairs. We are holding balcony staterooms in category “D2”. The price is $928.00 including all taxes and port fees. Price is per person based on two persons in the cabin. Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to impose a fuel supplement of up to $10.00 per guest per day if the price of fuel exceeds $65.00 per barrel.Please be aware that after April 30th the price for this trip will increase and we may not be able to provide the balcony stateroom. Non quilting spouses and friends are most welcome! On day 1 we will leave Galveston at 4:30pm. Day 2, 3, and 7 will be “cruising” days. Optional hand sewing projects will be offered on these three days. Day 4 will be spent in Roatan, Honduras, day 5 in Belize City, and day 6 in Cozumel. Shore excursions will be available at all three stops.
We will need a deposit of $25.00 to reserve your space. This amount should be paid by check with a deadline of April 30th. The next deposit of $225.00 is due on Sep. 7th with the balance due on Dec. 13th. These payments can be made by credit card. Cancellations can be made up to this date without a penalty. Trip insurance can be purchased for $59.00.
Depending upon the response in the Bryan/College Station area we may charter a bus to Galveston. Cost would probably be close to what parking will be at the port and you would not have to worry about your car. Additionally, the buses meet travelers at the port to pick up luggage.
