Classes, Events, and Retreats

If you are interested in a class and are unable to attend just find a friend or a group of friends and LSQW will schedule a time with the teacher so you may take the class. Please purchase all materials for your class ahead of time. You will be given a 10% discount on your supplies if purchased at LSQW. Due to copyright issues no sharing of patterns or books during class will be allowed. Please arrive at class fifteen minutes early to allow time for setup. LSQW International Quilt Festival Bus Trip

Time: 8 AM–9 PM
Cost: $80

Lone Star Quiltworks is pleased to announce we will be hosting a bus trip to the 36^th annual International Quilt Festival at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. For those of you who have not attended IQF before this is the largest quilt show in the world. We are extremely lucky to have this show right in our own backyard. The 2010 show will feature 2,200 hung quilts as part of many exhibits, and over 1,100 vendor booths. Sign up early for this by calling the shop at 979-595-1072. Click here for the complete flyer.

LSQW Applique of the Month

Time : TBA
Cost: $8.99 per month + $45 signup fee

Lone Star Quiltworks is pleased to announce our beautiful new Block of the Month offering! It will be based upon Edyta Sitar’s Elegant Garden pattern. Our choice of fabrics include her gorgeous green batik border. The date is the first meeting of the group. However, there are a limited number of spaces available for this offering so signup early.
